Song of the Week: We Wait on You by Steve Crown

Hi folks, trust you all have been doing well. Welcome to a new week.

As I pondered on the song to share with you this week, I came across a Bible passage that says:

Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord . Psalms 27:14 KJV

The words Wait on the Lord leapt out at me.

WAIT ON THE LORD: put your trust in Him, keep your gaze on Him, do not get distracted, be brave and strong in your hope, let not your hope waver……

What are you waiting on God for?

One thing I’ve learnt in life is that we are not self-sufficient as humans; we need people around us and ultimately we need God in our lives, ‘cos He is the source of our greatest help. We could never be fully satisfied without Him.

We wait on you
We wait on You

So, that is why I’m sharing this song with you. We wait on you by Steve Crown. It is a sweet, simple, but succint song. Enjoy!!!

We wait on You Lyrics:

Holy Spirit you are welcome
FIll this temple with your presence
Holy Spirit you are welcome
FIll this temple with your presence

We wait on you
Lord we wait on you
We wait on you
Lord we wait on you

Holy Spirit you are welcome
FIll this temple with your presence
Holy Spirit you are welcome
FIll this temple with your presence

We wait on you
Lord we wait on you
We wait on you
Lord we wait on you

We wait on you
Lord we wait on you
We wait on you
Lord we wait on you. (Repeat 7 times)
